TEAMS: New York Giants, Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, San Diego Chargers

apologize in advance. I broke a finger yesterday and it's painful to type. I'll
slowly go back over this article and correct them.**
The New York Giants went into their week nine game with the San
Diego Chargers looking at it as if it were their Super Bowl. It was a must win.
Period. They knew it, the coaches knew it and the fans knew it.
Unfortunately, they gave it up late.
Rather than converting a touchdown on a late series, they
settled for a field goal to put them up six points. San Diego then orchestrated
an incredibly effect touchdown drive to put them up a point, and ended the
game, fittingly, with a sack of Eli Manning.
The Giants fall to 5-4 and are basically a long-shot to
reach the playoffs at this point.

Coughlin's False Hope
The Giants are a train wreck! After winning their first five games, the Giants have lost four in a row. Their latest last minute collapse against the Chargers 21-20 is going to be a watershed moment for Head Coach Tom Coughlin. Fi-re Cough-lin!
Remember that chant way back in 2006 just a year before winning the Super Bowl? Most dedicated Giants fans do.
I will be the first to admit that I aided in that chant, only to regret it the past two years, only to love it once again. Flip-flopper, sure, but have I become a realist about the situation...absolutley!
