The one guy I feel bad for is Lebron James and his upcoming decision on pending free agency. Now do not get me wrong the Cavaliers have tried to surround him with players, but the bottom line is not the talent he needs. Everyone thought getting Shaq was the answer, but it is not. The Cavaliers cannot match the Magics or Celtics in the East and will lose in the playoffs. Lebron James maybe the best player in the league, but he is only one guy.
Yes, Shaq is a decent player, but he is to old. Jordan had Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Horace Grant and others when he was winning championships. Kobe Bryant has Lamar Odom, Gasol, Derrick Fischer and others. For Lebron he has no guy that stands out from the crowd that can carry the team. Until he does he will never win a championship.
This brings me to Lebron James decision about leaving Cleveland or not. In the end I think he will have to leave if he wants to win a championship. The Cavaliers have not made the moves needed to give him a chance to win a championship. James needs a true point guard and until he gets that he will never win a championship. In my opinion James has no choice but to leave, but we will see how loyal he really is to Cleveland.
