The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed free agent forward Leon Powe to a two-year contract.
Powe, who averaged 7.7 points and 4.9 rebounds in 70 games with the Boston Celtics last season, tore the ACL in his left knee during the playoffs and had reconstructive surgery on May 5. He isn't expected to be ready to play for the Cavaliers until February.

The Mavs have already added two power forwards who will play some center this summer. They were apparently willing to also make room on the roster for Leon Powe, but the ex-Celtic banger opted to sign with Cleveland.
Agent Aaron Goodwin told the Associated Press that the Mavs, Lakers and Heat were among other teams to show interest in Powe, who won't be available until midseason...
