Amid the hoopla surrounding the apparent signing (or not) of linebacker Junior Seau, the Patriots seemed to receive some positive injury news. It concerns left tackle Matt Light.
Light has “no significant ligament damage in his knee or ankle,” according to ESPN’s Mad Tweeter Adam Schefter. But Light’s return date is still uncertain.

Only one small note from the practice report filed earlier in the day, one that came after 20, very cold minutes out on the fields. Turns out, guard Stephen Neal was limited for a non-football reason.
