Months after trying to talk his way out of Carolina, Panthers defensive end Julius Peppers reportedly is open to the possibility of signing a long-term deal with the only NFL team for which he has played. In other words, not having any of the other 31 teams display serious interest tends to make a guy willing [...]

  • I hope he stays. He's a Carolina boy who went to UNC and plays for the Panthers. He is beloved by everyone there. That's his home.
  • I agree. I was living in Charlotte when they drafted him and he came in almost immediately and started beasting. Yeah, Carolina is his home and he is loved there. IDK why he would want to leave.
  • I'd like to see him stay too.
  • You mean another bigtime player got away from the Eagles? What's up?
  • bowlbound...the eagles never went after peppers just to let you know so he didnt get away...he got away from the patriots. He must of gotten away from the cowboys to. You are so infatuated with the eagles...are u sure your not a eagle fan? It hink your tryin to find ways onto the bandwagon but we keep kickin u off.
  • No, it's just a joke because several Eagles fans post tons of articles like they are going to sign every free agent that becomes available. I haven't seen any of that from us. We know better. And, I wouldn't be a f*cking Eagles fan for sh*t, bandwagon or not. Sorry to disappoint ya.
  • yeah i know what you mean. There are people who just post articles without having a source, that gets annoying. If your going to start somethin then atleast have a source. A link to a website or some legit reason. The ones with boldin were credible b/c the eagles themselves said they were goin after him. We didnt just make that up.
  • Oh, I know. But, there were 50 articles from Eagles fans saying the same damn thing. That gets kind of annoying.

PFTV Looks At Peppers Deal

With no one else willing to fork over one or more draft picks and to pay Julius Peppers a big pile of cash, Peppers opted to sign his franchise tender. With no strings attached.
