Federov

Apparently, if you are a sleazy financial manager/advisor, Detroit athletes are your target. It wasn't too long ago that Rip Hamilton sued his manager Josh Nochimson for 1.4 million....

And now, well, I guess you can say this is a bit bigger...Like 43 million dollars big...

For nearly 20 years, former Red Wing great Sergei Fedorov has victimized opponents with slick skating and a deadly shot.

Now he says he is the victim, swindled out of $43 million by a Grosse Pointe Shores man entrusted to manage his money.

I'm not rich. In fact, if someone swindled me out of 43 bucks, they'd probably get a knuckle sandwich...

So I'm not sure how you get swindled out of 1 millions times that....

I mean, is this like the strip club where you walk in with like a hundred bucks and you walk out with a pair of ripped boxers and an IOU for like 2000 dollars ...

I'm not saying that happened to me...it happened to a friend...a very, stupid yet rather handsome fellow named Pisaac...

I know, weird name

Anyways, Sergei, blame yourself...While you were trolling around Detroit with an underage Anna Kournikova on your arm, some dude was using your atm/credit cards right under your nose....

Maybe you should, I don't know, check your account balances every once in awhile...

Blades of Steal? Fedorov claims ex-advisor owes him $43 million

Mike Knuble Will Never Be Booed in This Town. Am I Right?

One of the great paradoxes in hockey involves the intense love that fans develop for their team's individual players set against the backdrop of a sport that sees very frequent personnel changes. Every season, there many trades, often involving several players per side, and free agency is just a bonanza. This is true of every sport, but I've always noticed how quickly fanbases can...

Puck Daddy chats with Mike Knuble about garbage goals, crazy Flyers fans and expectations skating with Ovechkin

For Mike Knuble, there are benefits to signing with the Washington Capitals that go beyond the $5.6 million over two years he's due to receive. For example, there's the chance that he's going to play on the same line as his son's favorite hockey star, Alexander Ovechkin."[I'm going to] drag him out to a birthday party or something," said Knuble, meeting the local media this week...
