TEAMS: New England

The Sounders this week are traveling all the way across the country to play the New England Revolution. Last time these two teams met in Seattle the Revolution pulled out a 1-0 win. The Revolution really dominated most of the game last time except for the end when the Sounders started to pressure looking for that tie. This game has huge playoff implications with the Sounders holding a 3 point lead over the Revolution for one of the four wild card spots.

Recently the Revolution have played very similarly to the Sounders with both teams finding it hard to get the win. The Sounders last game was a very competitive tie with some great shots by most every Sounder, but Chivas got some even greater saves out of Goal Keeper Zach Thorton. Even though the Sounders couldn't pull any of these shots out and actually score it was very promising that they are going to attack often and put their shots on goal.

This will be a tough cross country game for the Sounders, but the last time we went to the East Coast we pulled a 2-1 win over DC United. I think the Sounders will finally convert some of those shots and actually score. With a full roster to play with no one suspended I see the Sounders winning 2-0.

Go Sounders!!

Guaranteed NFL Week Three Locks

I went 9-7 in the NFL last week, which puts me at 20-12 for the year. Note: Due to an upcoming investments midterm, I do not have time to explain these picks, so please trust me that I have done my research...

Now, that’s more like it.Despite beginning the season with two solid victories and showing more offensive prowess than Baltimore had seen in years, there were still voices of concern.
