Sounds like some Vikings had a rough night. Tight end Visanthe Shiancoe said on his Twitter account that the team's hotel in Appleton hosted a Halloween party "ALL last night." Then, he said, a loud bell went off outside early in the morning. "What the (expletive) is going on here," Shiancoe concluded on his Twitter account. Shiancoe said around 9 a.m. he was about to take a nap. It seems the Vikings got treated to the sort of harassment visiting soccer teams endure on the road. The fans of the home club or country have been known to blast music in the wee hours of the morning outside the visiting team's hotel or call players at all hours of the night. From my recollection, the Vikings have stayed in the same hotel in Appleton for at about 10 years.
