OUR LINE IS OFFENSIVE

SO Stacy Andrews still isn`t healed enough for mini-camp. MINI-camp. This does not bode well for the season. Those of you out there who`ve actually put pads on back me up on this. If you know the O-lineman across from you had to wait until late May, early June just to participate in drill exercises; then go through the rigors of summer-time training camp, while learning a new system AND a new position, do you not CIRCLE the date you get to face him?
Shawn`s back is fine now, but it's an injury he`s had since high school ( http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/dneagles/Eagles_Andrews_out_6_weeks.html ), only now getting surgery to fix it. God only knows what that could mean down the line this year. Especially if a recurrance triggers another depressive episode.
My fingers are crossed on Jason Peters, the lineman who unofficially (there I said it) gave up 11.5 sacks last year on his way to the Pro-Bowl. Fan`s defense of this, was that the fault lay with the QB for holding the ball too long. Some guy in Buffalo did a sack by sack breakdown (excellent work by the way!) that brings his number down to 5.5. I would move it UP to 13 (Sacks: 1,2,3,4,8,9,10,13,15,16,17,19,20) http://boards.buffalobills.com/showthread.php?t=127203 . The fan gave him the benefit of the doubt VERY often. But imagine that was McNabb back there and playoffs were at stake. Would you be satisfied? Especially after 10 years of Tra? I`m not hatin` but check it out. It`s worth your time.
