Former Arizona Cardinals' safety, Corporal Patrick Daniel Tillman died nine years ago today, while serving a tour in Afghanistan. Initial reports said that Tillman had been killed by enemy fire, but later it was ruled as "friendly fire".Tillman began his college career at Arizona State University as a linebacker in 1994. In spite of being small for his position (5-foot-11), Tillman surpassed the expectations everyone had of him. In his junior year, not only did he help his team go undefeated and lead them to the Rose Bowl, he was voted PAC-10 defensive player of the year. During his college years, he received many awards and eventually was inducted into the College Football Hall Of Fame in 2010.In 1998, Tillman was selected as the 226th pick in the NFL draft by the Arizona Cardinals. Tillman started 10 of the 16 games in his rookie season as a safety, not as a linebacker. Out of pure loyalty to the Cardinals, Tillman turned down a five-year, $9 million contract offer f...

Per NFL rules, a new head coach means a team gets an extra session of voluntary mini-camp to work on the new playbook. Seems only fair, as players will be making a big transition from one coach to another.
Such is the case in Arizona, where Bruce Arians is the new man in charge. As well as Arians being new to team, we also have QB Carson Palmer, who finds himself in a transition...
The Arizona Cardinals have thrown out a lot of mixed signals this offseason in what they are actually trying to accomplish in the 2013 NFL draft. It could be a smokescreen or they could be telling the truth. However, I have a feeling that the Cardinals will not focus on the offensive line as much as everyone believes. They added some guards and tackles in free agency, but I’m not...
This Kerry Rhodes saga continues to take bizarre turns. Following Russell “Hollywood” Simpson’s confession that he was allegedly romantically involved with the free agent safety, Rhodes people have come out stating that Hollywood isn’t telling the truth and the photos are just showing Kerry’s friendly side. He’s the type of guy that makes a lot of physical contact with...
NFL News: The Arizona Cardinals have agreed to terms with former Seattle Seahawk, Paul Fanaika. Fanaika was drafted in the 7th round in 2009 and appeared in three games for the Hawks in 2011. He will serve as training camp depth and fight to make the final roster.
Fantasy Ramifications: The signing of Paul Fanaika has no fantasy ramifications.
The post Arizona Cardinals Agree...
You can go to Jocks and Stiletto Jill for all the details, but the gist of the story goes like this.
A member of Kerry Rhodes’s team leaks info that Rhodes has dated a woman for 10 years, but no one has seen the woman, no one knows the woman’s name, there are no photos of the woman, she has never been to Arizona and doesn’t want to be in spotlight.
Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall has taken to the Huffington Post via a blog post to share his happiness of being in Arizona.
The Steelers former first-round draft pick, who signed a one-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals early in the free-agent signing period, claims that, while only being settled in his new Arizona home for a short time now, that...
The Arizona Cardinals are in the market for a left tackle,
and they hold the No. 7 overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. There are three
big-name tackles available, but there’s also a chance that the trio could be
off the board by the time the Cardinals are up. For this reason, Arizona has
discussed Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Branden Albert, according to
TEMPE, Ariz. Levi Brown experienced an unfamiliar sensation last season as he watched the Cardinals train wreck of season from the sidelines with a torn triceps.
For five seasons, the fifth pick in the 2007 Draft was a lightning rod for criticism of Arizonas offensive line. But with Brown out of lineup for all of 2012, it was suddenly open season on Cardinals quarterbacks...
