Clemson and Florida State are tied atop the Atlantic Division as both boast 6-1 conference records, but the Seminoles own the tiebreaker with their September 22nd victory over the Tigers. Both teams play their last ACC games this weekend. Clemson will need a win over NC State and a MAJOR upset by Maryland over Florida State in order to take the division crown.
Things are A LOT more complicated in the Coastal Division. Miami and Georgia Tech are tied at 4-3 in the ACC (Miami owns the tiebreaker), but right behind them at 3-3 are Duke and North Carolina. The Tar Heels are ineligible for post season play, and are a long shot to win the division anyway having already lost to Georgia Tech and Duke. Miami needs to simply win out to take the division, while GT will need to beat Duke and then hope the Blue Devils can take down the Hurricanes the following week.
