Adam Greeneberg currently plays for the Bridgeport Bluefish of the Atlantic League which is an independent team. He was an outfielder for the Chicago Cubs in 2005 and was best known for being hit in the head on the first pitch of his only plate appearance. As Adam recovered from his injury the need for him to get in the major leagues grew and Matt Liston a lifelong baseball fan decided that Adam deserved that one at bat.  Greenberg got signed by the Marlins in 2012 and finally got the at bat he greatly deserved. Now that I have told you a little about Adam I will move into the interview.  I also have attached a link to the TripleThreatTv.com video on Adam.    Questions for Adam Greenberg 1) Can you describe your injury? I know this a tough subject as the magnitude of your injury is described as one of the 10 most gruesome in sports. My take on the question is to get an explanation of the recovery process and what you had to endure physically and mentally to get back to the major lea...

Garcia delivers big time; Orioles take three of four from the Nats

The Baltimore Orioles for the past year and half have been a team full of surprises and revelations. When the organization signed Freddy Garcia, I knew we had a veteran who has been around the league, had some success and was at the twilight of their career. Freddy Garcia was once a fireballer, but now he is a guy who relies on finesse and command to succeed. ...

Chris Davis Is Raking Right Now – Let’s Review

Let’s talk about Chris Davis for a moment.  MLB players have breakout seasons all of the time.  Bypassing some obvious (and debatable) cases, breakout seasons do happen.  Some are changes made in a player’s swing – like Jose Bautista and Curtis Granderson becoming yearly 40-homer guys.  Some are outlier years, like Jacoby Ellsbury having  a 32 HR/105 RBI season in 2011...

Chris Davis and the Orioles put on a show against the Nationals last night; They win despite 3 ...

Last night at Oriole Park at Camden Yards was simply an amazing experience from a usual game there. I had family over from out of town and decided at the spur of the moment to catch a game in Charm City. We would not regret the decision. It is hard to believe only two years ago, the Orioles were a perennial doormat. Now, in 2013, the Orioles are a contender, and do they ever...

What a night; Chris Dickerson's walk-off homer helps Orioles defeat Tigers, 7-5

What a week for the Orioles. After their come-back-from-behind victory on Wednesday, I didn’t think much else could have topped what I saw then. Well, what happened at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Friday may have topped that. As you all probably know by now, the Orioles pulled an amazing win, defeating the Detroit Tigers, 7-5, in the first contest in a three game series...

New York Yankees right-hander Chien-Ming Wang can opt out of his minor league contract today, but it's been reported that he'll only do so if he's able to secure a starting job with another team. This isn't expected, but it hasn't stopped teams -- including the Baltimore Orioles -- from keeping tabs on Wang, according to Dan Connolly of The Baltimore Sun. ...
