Bruins defenseman and alternate captain Andrew Ference joined Twitter on Monday (you can follow him at @Ferknuckle) and had a pretty amusing first few tweets:

Ference also used Twitter to show off some of the new ink he had done on his back on Monday, which you can see in the picture at the top of this post. The new piece took seven and a half hours worth of work at Pino Bros. in Cambridge and still isn’t done. Ference says he’s got another appointment in a couple of weeks to fill some color and background.

That’s some pretty serious ink, but I wonder if Ference will schedule another appointment to cover up that embarrassing tramp stamp he’s rocking?
