Fightin For Philly:
Andy Reid coached the Philadelphia Eagles for 14 years. Check.
Andy Reid now coaches the Kasas City Chiefs. Check.
But Andy Reid and the Eagles will always have a special connection, and – whether the parties like it or not – will always bring up memories of each other when mentioned.
Therefore, it’s not too weird to think, for a second, that Reid still coaches the Eagles.
Unless you’re clearly at the Chiefs-Giants game.
And unless you’re a referee in that game.
When Reid successfully challenged a play and was not charged with a timeout upon winning the challenge, the referee announced that “Philadelphia will not be charged with a timeout.”
Eagles fans should love this one.

I really hope that Andy Reid called the ref ‘buddy’ after his gentle challenge flag toss in the 2nd quarter.

The New York Giants and Kansas City Chiefs meet in a match-up of teams with opposite records.
Few would have thought that the Giants would enter this game 0-3, even less would have envisioned the Chiefs as 3-0 under new coach Andy Reid.
FOX will have coverage of this game beginning at 1:00 pm ET (12:00 pm CT) from Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, MO

Kansas City Chiefs CB Sean Smith is an integral part in the transformation of the team's defense. Ranked dead last in 2012, the unit has done a complete turnaround as one of the top defenses in 2013. Gone is the read and react, and in its place is an ultra aggressive attacking style that has the team leading the NFL in sacks with 15. One of the big reasons for such...
Boy that went fast. A month of football is already in the books. The Eagles finished the month of September with a record of 1-3 but are still very much alive in the NFC East division race. Today we take a closer look at the guy running the offense, quarterback Michael Vick, and his performance through the first four games this season.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- And sometimes, games just get ... weird. The Chiefs' two longest drives of Week 4 led to their first two touchdowns. They had the ball twice in New York Giants territory in the middle of the game thanks to timely, gift turnovers only to ... turn the ball right back over a few plays later and come away with nada to show for it. The hosts strung together their...
Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith threw for 288 yards and three touchdowns and rushed seven times for 37 yards Sunday against the Giants to help Kansas City improve to 4-0.Fantasy Spin:Smith doesn't take many risks when throwing the football but he has three multi-touchdown games and has contributed a surprising 151 yards on the ground.
LeSean McCoy, Michael Vick, and the offensive line may be the Philadelphia Eagles’ best defense against Peyton Manning and the Broncos. The Eagles have the formula on offense that may allow them to pull off a stunning upset on Sunday.

The Giants had high hopes for the 2013 season. Those have flown out the window after the first four weeks, and Kansas City's Dexter McCluster delivered the dagger Sunday.
After a mediocre showing on offense, the Giants were forced to punt in the third quarter. McCluster fielded the punt at the Kansas City 11-yard line and made eight defenders miss as he cruised into the end...
Victor Cruz has his money, his McDonald’s wings, and a cool salsa dance for the fans after smoking Chiefs cornerback Dunta Robinson for a 68 yard touchdown.
Cruz beat Robinson so bad on the route, Dunta did the infamous hamstring grab.

So that wasn’t pretty. Not in the slightest. Peyton Manning and his band of merry men throttled the Eagles 52-20.
On the Eagles side, there was not much good to be had. The offense didn’t look sharp, the defense was gashed (and gassed), and the special teams got burned.
The Eagles stand at 1-3 with a quarter of the season gone. The question becomes, where do the Eagles go from...
The New York Giants have dropped to 0-4. This is the first time that has happened to the team since 1987. During Sunday’s match up against the Kansas City Chiefs. During the 3rd quarter, Chiefs Dexter McCluster scored on an 89-yard punt return for a touchdown to give Kansas City a 17-7 lead.
After McCluster scored, he hit his version of Victor Cruz’s salsa dance in the end zone...
Welcome back! It’s finally Sunday, and this week the Birds are in Denver. Now, if you’ve suffered through the endless cycle of pro-Manning propaganda as I have, you know that the Eagles have no chance. Really. They should not have left PHI. This was an expenditure that Lurie did not have to make. They stand not a chance in this endeavor. Manning is going to throw mad TDs while...
