Andy's arrogance continues on.

Posted January 04, 2013

I cant believe the media chooses to ignore the state Andy left the Eagles in.  Utter mess but he gets a pass.  First, he assembles a staff without a deal.  arrogant #1.  Then he claims Tom heckert is a package deal.  Arrogant #2.  Then he offers Castillo his OL job.  Arrogant #3.   I cant wait for some petty low life drug user to get busted and cop a plea and expose the Eagle steroid drug ring oerated by the arrogant phat man.  Do you think the Eagles players shrunk by accident.  they were busted.   This story will find its legs sooner or later.  This is a guy that went 66-61 in the last eight years.  Average.  What kind of spell has fat phuck cast on the NFL.  Trotter graded him a 7.5 on a scale of 1-10.  GTD.  Hugh Douglass  & Trotter said Reid on a level playing field couldnt outcoach the opposition.  And then the two posters on here:  One whining about our survival w/o the fatman.  About the dumbest conclusion you can draw.  And the other that claims Lurie ,who has said the GM and Coach separately report to him, doesnt make decisions.  Please! The players a breaking protocol and dumping on the coach.  Wheres that love you talk about GTD

  • If this team wasn't a mess Reid just might still be coaching it and you wouldn't want that, would you hollywood? Most of this post is just you exagerating, like usual. What have the players been saying to dump on Reid?...that he's a 7.5 out of 10?...that's a hell of a lot better than you would grade him. I know you like to twist things and your claims are just spinning our whole discussion. You turn your claims that the players and just about everybody HATE him and my telling you I never read that and bringing you proof that players have backed him recently into me claiming that everyone LOVES him. The truth of the matter is that you hate him and want everybody to feel the same hatred as you. My point is closer to the truth. Many fans I would guess liked the guy but wanted him gone. Are there fans that hate him, sure there are and I don't get that...I think it's a bit strange to have such a strong feeling as hatred for a man who coaches a football team (your hatred is especially strange.) On the flip side, I have heard a few call up WIP to actually back what flip is saying, that the Eagles may regret the decision (you know I do not share the opinion) and one said that he is done with the Eagles for firing Reid. You want to throw Trotter out there, McNabb you brought up...players that at one point had a low point with you'll be bringing up how TO feels about Reid (why not throw in George Hegamin?). One last point before I discuss you, I never claimed that Lurie doesn't make any decisions with his football team...he's the freaking owner, of course he makes decisions. I stated he doesn't make the personnel decisions when it comes to the players and coaches (except for the head coach) just stretching the truth, like always!

I like how you bring me and another barker up in this post but you forgot to discuss the most pathetic barker on this site in recent days. The guy who just can't seem to stop discussing Andy Reid 5 days after he was fired. The guy that couldn't wait until he was gone and still wants to concern himself with every step Reid is making post Eagles. For someone that claimed that Reid would be forgotten as soon as he left this city you seem to be having a hard time with it. Are you trying to convince yourself that everybody hates Reid with these posts or will you miss the biggest reason you feel you had to whine about the Eagles? Don't worry, a new coach will soon be hired and my guess is that you won't waste any time telling us how much you hate the move no matter who it is. The guarantees will come shortly afterwards telling us how there will be no way he will ever win a Super Bowl followed by your..."book it"! I think we all have you pretty much figured out...I do at least.
  • I am offering 2 season tickets reward for someone to come forward and offer credible evidence linking Reids sons steroids found in his posession at his death at the Eagle dormitory facility to any eagle players. How pathetic is that. And thats what you want in a head coach. Thats why the Eagles suck.
  • You got me there, I can't disagree. It is pretty pathetic that you are offering a reward trying to find credible evidence linking the players to steroids found in Garrett Reid's room. You and I both know that this will go nowhere and it's just you playing the fool. I wouldn't doubt I'm the only one that even bothers to comment on it. No one else wants to waste their time.
  • of course it goes nowhere. Its a jole but it has some element of truth to it. You see somewhere out there someone is holding on to the biggest NFL story in recent history. A scandal that is potentially so big it could go right to congress. this is a Balco/Barry Bonds story X 100. I hope the truth comes out because that guy was garbage whether you like it or not. At least answer what the steroids were for. People need to be held accountable because it could have provided the means for the heroin that killed his son. In that sense its almost manslaughter. Am I wrong?
  • Most Eagle fans hope their is nothing to it other than what we all now know to be true. You on the other hand would love to see "your" team get snagged regardless of whether they were guilty of any foul play or not for two reasons. So you can try to spread that strange hatred around and also so you can simply type I told you so...again what a lame excuse of a fan you are.
  • Why do you care about anything Andy Reid right now? You have spent years ripping the guy in hope that he is fired and now he is. Still you are going on and on about him like a sick obsession. You seem angrier now that he's gone. Let him go dude or become a Chiefs fan.
  • its principle. that guy deserves nothing but somehow he tramples over evryone. Hes a bully. And I hate bullies. You see he does his self promo bullsh*t by "assembling" his coaches before the search started. He annointed himself the coach of the day. Made me sick. And that bozo in KC hasnt seen the reports about his son and the mess he lfet in Philly and hires him. I hope that team goes 0-16. That would be funny. And then you have the mortal man whining on and on about how the Eagles cant survive w/o him. Is he that poor at evaluating where the Eagles stand. Dope.

  • LOL. I've tried breathing excercises numerous times with hollywood. They don't seem to help. Honestly Spotella, hollywood should take a lesson from you. I know you haven't been a big fan of Reid's lately (or don't seem to be) but you seem get that he's gone and it's time to move on. Even when he was still here you didn't drown yardbarker with nothing but hatred for Reid and Lurie. Where does that get you? How can you enjoy football at all when you're holding onto that much hate?
  • What else do you have right now. It keeps me engaged.
  • You should careless about him now. He's gone and out the picture. He's no longer the HC of the Eagles, thus he's no longer your problem. As much as I hated Kotite and Brahman, I don't harp on them. I was overjoyed when they left! You seem even angrier now that he's gone. It makes no sense.
  • Hollywood, I see you have not let go of Reids tail. Let that go and talk about the best HC to fix this broken Eagles nest. Who are your top 3 prospects to best do the job?
  • 1. Tony Dungy- not happening
    2. a tie with all of the NFL offensive coordinators(Gruden)
    2. Curve ball- Lovie Smith.
    3. Chip kelly intersting. High risk high reward type coach. Good things can be contagious like bad things. So if his gimmicky style works it could chane the attitude quickly but if it fails early on doubt could enter swiftly.

I think Dungy brings back credibility lost.
  • Dungy hasn't put himself in the coaching hat.
  • I know but you know the Philly mess left by Reid and Lurie is gonna take some brains to clean up. Dungy is well respected. Im not sure what other contemporary coach available has that kind of respect. You see Lurie is running around like a chicken with his head cut off because he doesnt have a clue what to do. Lurie looks pathetic conducting the interviews so publicly. Chip built a college program but Im not sure that translates building a pro program back up. This is not a Jim harbaugh 49er situation. He is working with much less talent and a cancer ridden lockeroom and no QB. Not a real good start.
  • Dungy isn't trying to coach any team so speaking of him is quite irrelevant. If he's happy doing TV then so be it. Maybe he's enjoying the time with the family. I don't think Dungy is as good as people think he is anyway. On a side not you are one who is big into the rights of players and owners and coaches not misusing them correct? What's you response to what the Redskins did to RG3? Dude tore his knee all up. I remember you giving all kinds of praise to Snyder and Shanny. If that were Lurie and Reid you would have killed them for it. Any response?
  • I agree with you on Chip Kelly, he is a high risk for a shakey team. Gruden ahh experience. Lovie, I like....
