Found October 05, 2012 on PRO Rumors:
The Los Angeles Angels have signed catcher Chris Iannetta to a three-year extension, Mike DiGiovanna of the LA Times reports. The deal will be for  $15.5mm. Iannetta's previous deal included a $5mm club option for 2013. The club option became a player option after Iannetta was traded to Anaheim. Iannetta who missed most of May, June and July because of wrist surgery, hit .240/.332/.398 batting line in 253 plate appearances with 9 home runs. The Angels acquired Iannetta last offseason from the Rockies for pitcher Tyler Chatwood. The deal at the time seemed odd if Iannetta only stayed in Anaheim for one season as Chatwood is a young pitcher who can touch 90s on his fastball. Angels head home despite big stars, high salaries

They've also got plenty of time to ponder how it all went wrong during the most anticipated season in franchise history. The Angels finished third in the AL West at 89-73, a record good enough to win the AL Central or to earn...
