Darren Wolfson whom is a sports anchor and report for Minneapolis 5 Eyewitness News and the host of 1500 ESPN Radio sent out a tweet last night concerning Dante Cunningham whom plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves.   You can read into the tweet as much as you want but their is some indication from him that the San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Lakers are have in fact asked about the young small forward and could possibly make a play at him in July as an unrestricted free agent. Enjoying Dante's play tonight. Heard this week the #Spurs/#Lakers asked about him in offseason. Figure they'll have interest in UFA in July. — Darren Wolfson (@DarrenWolfson) November 23, 2013 Cunningham whom was drafted in the 2nd round (33 overall) in 2009 by the Portland Trailblazers is in his fourth year in the league and is averaging just under 20-minutes a game with the Timberwolves.  Through sixteen games this season he is averaging 5.4 points, and 3.8 rebounds.   Standing at 6'8" and 221 pounds, his length comes in handy and makes it difficult for opponents to move the ball around.  In a game he played in on November 17th, he had five steals.  He is far from a Kawhi Leonard but he does have just about the same length and comes off with a lot of energy and tries to put his own stamp on a game.   He has expressed how happy he is in Minnesota but money could be a factor in where he will be after this season.   Spurs fans, what do you guys think of the possibility of Cunningham being signed with the Spurs?
