Sporting News staff reports
Astros general manager Ed Wade tells the Houston Chronicle he is concerned about the health of his ace, right-hander Roy Oswalt.
Oswalt went 8-6 with a 4.12 ERA in 30 starts but made only three September starts because of back problems.
"I think we're a better rotation than people give us credit for. But a lot of it is going to depend on where Roy is health-wise," wade said. "We got to hope that he stays dedicated to the exercise program that's been prescribed and he does everything he can to make sure that his back isn't an issue."
