A pair of early goals weren't enough for the Wisconsin men's hockey team that fell 5-4 at the hands of Colorado College Friday night at the Kohl Center. Wisconsin didn't wast anytime getting on the board. Michael Mersch found the back of the net just 1:29 into the opening period. Brad Navin scored his first of the year minutes later to extend the Badgers' lead to 2-0, an advantage that would hold until the first intermission. But, the next two goals belonged to the Tigers. Hunter Fejes it the lamp 6:35 into the second period. Less than two minutes later, Mike Boivin torched the twine on the power play with a one-timer from close range to knot the game at 2-2. Jake McCabe put the Badgers back on top with his first goal of the season under a minute into the third. Scott Winkler answered for the Tigers at the 5:02 mark to tie the game once again.
