The Philadelphia Eagles will face a formidable Baltimore Ravens team following an ugly first week victory.
The Ravens boast one of the best defenses in the NFL and have two of the best leaders in Ray Lewis and Ed Reed to show for it.
For Andy Reid’s team to have any shot at a 2-0 record, these four things will have to work in their favor.

Offensive Line
If you’re trying to assign blame for Michael Vick’s four-interception performance against the Cleveland Browns, look no further than the offensive line. This unit was absolutely atrocious against Cleveland’s mediocre pass-rushers and made their opponents look like Pro Bowl regulars. Andy Reid Is a “GOOF” on Defense
After another second-round TKO, Andy Reid conceded to what most of us already knew when he said “I goofed”, after cutting last year’s 54th overall pick, safety Jaiquawn Jarrett. That makes six second-round picks on defense that have made no impact on the Eagles since Andy took the helm in 1999.
Jarrett is the latest bust that was touted by the Eagles brass, to be the hard...
Strong defense and Michael Vick keys to Eagles 24-23 win
This week the Eagles continued to be plagued by costly penalties and untimely turnovers, keeping the Ravens in the game until the end. The Eagles had a great balance of run and pass in the first half forcing the Ravens to respect the run and opening up the field for a huge dose of Brent Celek. Celek who was the forgotten man in the Ravens defensive scheme torched the Ravens for...
