Fresh off their 34-17 win over Connecticut to win a share of the Big East title, the Cincinnati Bearcats are going to the Belk Bowl to play the Duke Blue Devils. The game is December 27 at 6:30. It'll be on ESPN.
UC was a candidate for the Russell Athletic Bowl, but with them taking Virginia Tech, the bowl avoided the rematch. That leaves Cincinnati with Duke. Duke went 6-6, lost 5 of their last 6 games and is Duke. The Blue Devils gave up at least 30 points every week since October 13. They gave up at least 40 in their last 5 losses.
The Bearcats basketball team plays that night at 9 against New Mexico. That means that in each of the last 3 games of the football season, UC football and basketball played at the same time. That is odd.
I don't know what a Belk is. Sounds like a merkin.

Cashmere Wright buzzer beater over Alabama
First, there's 6-0 tall Cashmere Wright's fadeaway over 7-0 Moussa Gueye. Then there's the Cincinnati bench coaches trying to restrain players. And finally, an epic Mick Cronin eye roll when the refs tell him they're reviewing the shot. So much goodness in this video.
