Bernard Pollard is fresh off a Super Bowl victory as a member of the Baltimore Ravens, but the fiery safety is already shooting for another championship with his new team.Pollard signed a one-year contract worth $2 million with the Tennessee Titans in March and has wasted no time in expressing his expectations for the upcoming season. He expects to win the National Football League's most coveted prize, again. The outspoken veteran has a message written in Sharpie on a white piece of paper and taped inside of his locker that reads "Goal - Super Bowl" and "Mission - Kill!!!".“Our goal is the Super Bowl, and our mission is to kill,” said Pollard, pointing to his handwritten note. “And if someone doesn’t like it, then who cares? I really couldn’t care less. It is not our responsibility to make anyone else happy, to please you, to care about you."You can just feel the intensity ooze out of Pollard as he speaks.“Our responsibility is to protect LP Field and our responsibility is to steal wins on the road. And our responsibility is to (beat you up) as a defense, and that’s what we’re going to do on every single play. You have to have that mentality because nobody cares about the Tennessee Titans. Nobody. So you have to take the respect. That’s what we have to do. … Yeah, this team can get to the Super Bowl.”The idea that the Titans can realistically win the Super Bowl this year may be a bit of a stretch. Tennessee is coming off a 6-10 campaign and has not won a playoff game since 2003. However, don't try and explain that to Pollard, who said he wouldn't have signed with the team if he didn't honestly believe they could compete for a title.“I ain’t trying to waste my time, bro,” he said.Via The Tennessean
