Let's not get too bogged down in the mathematical probabilities of Kansas State, Oklahoma, Texas and Oklahoma State all finishing 7-2 in the conference and opening up a BCS *********. If Kansas State beats Baylor Saturday, Kansas State wins the Big 12 and goes to the BCS. Easy enough, right?
Well, Kansas State IS going to beat Baylor Saturday. The only thing they need to worry about is Oregon and Notre Dame jumping them in the BCS rankings by knocking off better opponents between now and December.
If Baylor pulls off the upset and throws the Big 12 into chaos we'll talk about it next week. Until then, it's not worth wasting the bandwidth. The Big 12 is the Wildcats to lose, but for the first time since 1931 they've got much bigger concerns than conference titles.
