The Mavericks wanted to get Dirk Nowitzki some inside help, and did with the addition of 7-0 center B.J. Mullens of Ohio State.
Mullens, who averaged 8.8 points and 4.7 rebounds last season as a freshman, only started two games for the Buckeyes last season.
He's a project for sure, but could turn out to be a useful pro for the Mavs. He also sports some sweet facial hair.
