Yes, we know rumors have circulated that included the likes of North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Kansas, and Virginia... Oh, and that's just to name a few. However a respected reporter and blogger in the DC area is reporting that trusted and good sources are telling him that both Georgia Tech and Virginia are set to leave the ACC and become the 15th and 16th members of the conference on Monday.  That person is Kevin Jones from WUSA 9 in DC and here is his direct quote from twitter: Source: Georgia Tech and UVA will announce decision to leave ACC by Monday. Will join Big 10 — Kevin Jones (@Mr_KevinJones) November 30, 2012 Of course reports on twitter have been and will continue to be wrong, but hey this guy isn't the wonderfully inaccurate and asinine SportsbyBrooks or anything. Add in the fact that both schools have been "pledging" their support and "denying" reports that they've been in talks with the Big Ten and you've got quite a bit of posturing that tells you something is up.  No doubt Georgia Tech has to say the right things right now considering they are less than 24 hours away from playing in the ACC Championship game and all, but boy would this ever be a death blow to the ACC and a huge move for the Big Ten, one that serves different goals with each move. What say you on this report and possible addition to the conference? If this does happen, be sure to keep it locked here and follow us on Twitter and Facebook for more information and up to the minute updates.
