William Moody, best known as 'Paul Bearer', passed away Tuesday morning at the age of 58.Moody entertained World Wide Entertainment fans for years in his role of the creepy manager for wrestling legend The Undertaker.Moody made his debut in 1991 as a former funeral home director who helped guide The Undertaker to the WWE title. He was known for his ghostly white skin, and bringing an urn to the ring during spooky entrances.Moody stopped making full-time performances for the WWE in 2002, but had made appearances on periodic occasions ever since.The cause of his death was not immediately known.WWE released the following statement regarding his death:"WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of William Moody, aka Paul Bearer. Moody made his WWE debut in 1991 as the manager of The Undertaker and went on to become a memorable part of WWE over the course of the next 20 years. "Our deepest condolences go out to Moody's family, friends and fans."Wrestlers have chimed in via Twitter offer words of condolences in Moody's death.Triple H tweeted: "Rest in peace, Paul Bearer. You will never be forgotten. There will never be another.”Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, who had many memorable battles with The Undertaker and Bearer, added: “Very sad about Paul Bearer, he was a great person and one of the original boys.“He was what made wrestling great.
