PLAYERS: Lee Smith
There’s a reason it’s called the Lambeau Leap and not the Ralph Wilson Stadium Leap. While NFL players celebrating a touchdown often jump into the stands to interact with some lucky fans, most of the fans are smart enough to catch said player. Key word: most. In Sunday’s Bills-Rams game in Buffalo, tight end Lee Smith caught a touchdown pass and wanted to make the leap into the Bills’ faithful. But, for whatever reason, the fans weren’t ready for the backup tight end’s plunge. Check out the animation below to see Smith’s dip into the dark abyss amongst Bills fans. Bills TE falls into stands trying to celebrate

After executing a perfect play-action bootleg pass on the two yard line, Lee Smith went to celebrate by doing his version of the Lambeau Leap with the Bills fans near the end zone.  The only issue is that he failed miserably. When he went up for the jump he landed on top, but no one caught him and fell on his back on the other side of the wall.  Perhaps Packers fans should tell...

Bills TE Lee Smith demonstrates why Lambeau Leaping should be left to the pros in Green Bay

It’s like one of those trust building exercises gone horribly wrong. Bills fans let TE fall into seats after touchdown (VIDEO)
