With teams entering the quarter way point of the season it can be strongly argued the Columbus Blue Jackets are the largest surprise and Cinderella team to date. A team that many hockey experts did not even give an outsider chance of making the playoffs is currently battling for the division lead. Going into play on Saturday, the Blue Jackets are only four points behind the Western Conference leaders the Detroit Redwings who are off to a 12-3-2 start. The Jackets are 11-6-0 and are riding a two game winning streak; with huge road wins against the powerful Los Angeles Kings and a strong Anaheim team.
