LOUIS St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has assigned goaltender Brian Elliott to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, Peoria Rivermen for conditioning. Elliott will start for the Rivermen on Friday against Oklahoma City and Saturday against Lake Erie before returning to the Blues following Saturdays game. Elliott, 27, has appeared in 11 games for the Blues this season posting a 3-6-1 record including a 3.65 goals against average and a .851 save percentage. Overall, the 62, 209-pound goaltender has appeared in six National Hockey League (NHL) seasons, including the last two with the Blues, posting a 87-69-21 record including a 2.65 goals against average and a .907 save percentage in 191 career games.
