With top-rated prospects Nerlens Noel, Alex Len and Ben McLemore still on the board, the Charlotte Bobcats made a surprising decision to pick Indiana big man Cody Zeller. A bunch of Bobcats fans (yes, they do exist!) at a draft viewing party clearly weren’t pleased by this decision and voiced their displeasure by booing the pick loudly. Fortunately for us, this was all caught on camera for our own entertainment. It’s just another example of Michael Jordan not exactly being seen as the greatest front office executive in basketball. Who knows MJ might finally know what he’s doing and get the last laugh here, I guess we’ll find out. [CBS Sports] Article found on: Next Impulse Sports

A new role awaits Cody Zeller at next level

Cody Zeller came to Indiana with impossible expectations. And so maybe there’s some freedom and change on the horizon as he makes the leap to the next level. He’s no longer the program savior taking the Hoosiers back to the promised land. Sports Illustrated and ESPN The Magazine won’t be asking him to grace their [...]The post A new role awaits Cody Zeller at next level appeared...

Former Indiana Hoosiers star Cody Zeller is from a really small town, so you'll have to excuse his equating New York City traffic to a tractor crossing the road.

Although physically unprepared, Cody Zeller will eventually create a buzz in ‘The Hornet’s Nest’ as a Bobcat

Surprisingly uninterested in Nerlens Noel and Alex Len, the Charlotte Bobcats selected former Indiana Hoosiers center Cody Zeller fourth overall on Thursday night. Despite being removed from a dismal 21-61 campaign in the Southeast division, Charlotte is the perfect organization for the 20-year-old Zeller. After averaging 16.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists over 36 games as...

Zeller says he can play perimeter

Cody Zeller has confidence he can be a perimeter threat as well as a low-post presence for the Charlotte Bobcats. But he might need a quick refresher course on his jump shot first. Zeller attempted just two 3-pointers during his two seasons at Indiana, but the No. 4 overall pick in this year's draft may be asked to knock down jumpers more at the NBA level. Zeller said he'...

Video: Charlotte Bobcats pick Cody Zeller, fans are not happy

The Charlotte Bobcats chose former Indiana star Cody Zeller with the No. 4 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, and fans were not impressed. Check out the boo-birds here.

Charlotte Bobcats draft party booed Cody Zeller selection

Come on Bobcats fans, you’re not happy about selecting a 240 pound, 7-foot forward who’s considered soft? Last season, Zeller averaged 16.5 points and 8.1 rebounds during his sophomore season at Indiana. In a very weak draft class, I’d say Zeller is a safe pick, but certainly not someone that will excite fans.
