Patrice Bergeron Scores Goal Off Bizarre Bankshot From Zdeno Chara (Video)

A shot from Zdeno Chara deflected off the goalie, off the back glass, off the top of the net, then off Patrice Bergeron‘s stick and into the back of the net. Just how Claude Julien wrote it up. Not quite, but the unorthodox goal reduced the Bruins deficit to one in the final minutes of the second period. Less than two minutes after Blackhawks center Marcus Kruger gave Chicago...

Bruins Fans Gather to Wish Team Good Luck in Sendoff to Game 5 in Chicago (Video)

The B’s need to win two more games to clinch the title, and center David Krejci said the fan support is crucial to their game. “It feels like it’s...

Gregory Campbell should be good to go fro Boston’s training camp

According to ESPN Boston's James Murphy, Gregory Campbell will need 6 to 8 weeks to recover from his broken right leg, and the Bruins expect him to be ready to go for training camp. Campbell addressed the media on Wednesday, and he didn't suggest that blocking an Evgeni Malkin shot during the Eastern Conference Final was a heroic act. Instead, it was just a hockey player...

Hurt But Not Forgotten

Gregory Campbell will not once suit up for the Boston Bruins during the Stanley Cup Finals. Should the Bruins win, he will not get to take the legendary lap around the rink, with Lord Stanley’s Cup raised high above his head. But Campbell’s sacrifice, ability to play through pain, and will to win are a huge reason the Bruins championship dreams are still alive. Campbell suited...

Jimmy Fallon’s superlatives for the Stanley Cup Final are tremendous

Brad Marchand: Andrew Shaw scratched my forehead like a kitty cat

Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand and Chicago Blackhawks center Andrew Shaw found themselves at the center of the melee that broke out near the end of Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Bruins’ ‘Average’ Showing Costs Them, Wakes Up Blackhawks As Series Heads Back to Chicago Tied

BOSTON — The Bruins picked a pretty bad night to have a very un-Bruins-like performance. The B’s were “average” at best in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final, which means it’s now a best-of-three series for the Stanley Cup. Boston dropped a 6-5 overtime heart-breaker on Wednesday night at TD Garden in a game that was very out of character for the usually defensive-minded Bruins...

The defenseman’s shot through traffic that beat Boston goalie Tuukka Rask gives the Blackhawks, who never trailed...

Jonathan Toews Claims Blackhawks Have, Can ‘Expose’ Zdeno Chara

Bruins captain Zdeno Chara didn’t have his best game of the postseason on Wednesday night when the Blackhawks evened up the Stanley Cup Final at two games apiece. Two days later, it sounds like the Blackhawks are taking all the credit. Chicago’s captain Jonathan Toews seemed to have gained some confidence after scoring his first goal of the series. in that 6-5 overtime win...

Stanley Cup Finals: Game 5. Boston Bruins at Chicago Blackhawks.

I'm still not worried. Is that bad? Is that normal? I mean, it's me we're talking about. I'm Mr. ******* Negative when it comes to stuff like this and I'm not worried about Boston chances in the next game (or the two after that, should it come to two). Why? It took Chicago's best game of the series and Boston's worst game of the series - and overtime ...
