J. MERIC/GETTY IMAGES BOSTON--According to a report from Alex Speier of WEEI.com’s Full Count blog , the Boston Red Sox have placed lefty Andrew Miller on the 15-day disabled list. Miller told reporters that there was no fracture in his foot following X-rays due to an awkward landing after jumping out of the way of a comebacker in the seventh inning of last night’s game in Anaheim.   However, he also said that he did not feel better and reportedly was wearing a walking boot in the Red Sox clubhouse. The team planned to fly Miller back to Boston for further tests. With Miller on the disabled list, Boston recalled right-hander Alfredo Aceves from Triple-A Pawtucket today. The right-hander made a one-inning relief appearance on May 24, but since that time has been working out of the bullpen for the Pawsox. Since May 27, he has notched a 3.80 ERA in seven starts however in his last two starts , he has surrendered 10 runs in 10 innings. In 35 2/3 innings with the Local Nine this year, he...
