Found November 14, 2012 on Diehardsport:
Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall tweeted out this picture probably not knowing that one of his teammates is showing his bare butt in the background.Marshall later deleted the picture, but @DirtyDangls was able to capture the moment before it disappeared. Marshall later tweeted this:Sorry about my guy in the back getting dressed in that photo.— Brandon Marshall (@BMarshall) November 14, 2012I guess the photographer didn’t know that the wide angle would capture the whole locker room. Or maybe he did. We’ve seen a lot of bare butts this weekend in sports. Here and here. HT: Sports Pickle

Can the Chicago Bears win without Jay Cutler?

It’s déjà vu all over again for Chicago Bears fans in 2012.  The Chicago Bears went on a long winning streak which had people talking about them as a top team in the NFL, just like last season.  Now Jay Cutler is hurt, just like last season.  The question now is whether or not Cutler will miss extended time, and how Jason Campbell will perform in his absence. It could be seen...

Bears kicker Gould rips Soldier Field

Chicago Bears kicker Robbie Gould ripped the surface at Soldier Field and then apologized for it. Gould blasted the field on Wednesday, saying he might have to think about re-signing with Chicago when his contract expires after next season. He told reporters he hopes to remain with the Bears but isn't sure he wants ''to deal with that as I get older as a kicker.'...

Urlacher: I'd still lie about concussion

Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher still says he would lie to cover up a concussion. With quarterback Jay Cutler recovering from a concussion, the Bears' defensive star wasn't backing off comments he made to HBO earlier this year. He responded ''yeah'' when asked if he would try to cover up such an injury. He said he's not sure ''how you...

Bears OT J'Marcus Webb States Case to Be Long Term Starter at Left Tackle

Over the last two years no player on the Chicago Bears roster has come under more fire than left tackle J'Marcus Webb.  Webb has been a constant target of criticism as both a starting right tackle and a left tackle in his first two years in the NFL.  Heading into Webb's third year there was a basic assumption, for the Bears' offense to improve Webb's play would...

Urlacher says again he'd lie about concussion

Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher still says he would lie to cover up a concussion. With quarterback Jay Cutler recovering from a concussion, the Bears' defensive star wasn't backing off comments he made to HBO earlier this year. He responded ''yeah'' when asked if he would try to cover up such an injury. He said he's not sure ''how you...

NFL Rumors: Robbie Gould Becomes Latest Chicago Bears Player To Rip Soldier Field Grounds

The Chicago Bears have a long standing tradition of one of the most respected organizations in all of the National Football League, as well as throughout all of the major professional sports leagues. They are loved by many, hated by some, but respected by all. Fans show up in droves to support the Bears, free agents love coming to Chicago and the team remains one of the most feared...

Backup Plan: Bears Bring Back McCown With Cutler Likely Out

With Chicago Bears’ QB Jay Cutler likely doubtful for Monday night’s matchup against the San Francisco 49ers the Bears made sure they had an insurance policy. They announced today the signing veteran QB Josh McCown to a one-year deal. McCown spent three games with the team after the Caleb Hanie experiment in 2011. McCown who started two games a year ago completed 35 of 55...

NFL's focus protocol, not safety

Jay Cutler suffered a brain injury and stayed in the game, getting hit in the head again on the very next play. Tim Dobbins was ruled by officials to have cheap-shotted Cutler with a helmet-to-helmet blow, and stayed in the game. Can we try to stay focused on what matters here? It won't be easy, because Roger Goodell and the NFL are working a little magic trick, using smoke...

Chicago Bears: Week 11 NFL Power Rankings (#2)

Last week: 1 (-1) Record: 7-2 It’s a shame Cutler had to get hurt. I was looking at the Houston and San Francisco games as two games that would valid a Chicago team that had been playing incredible up until that point. With Cutler missing most of the Houston game and probably all of the San Francisco game, we still don’t have a great read on this team. I still say I wouldn...

Jay Culter has not been cleared to practice

It is looking doubtful that the Chicago Bears will have Jay Culter for Monday nights game against the San Francisco 49ers. With Culter out the first-team reps will be taken by backup Jason Campbell. Culter left Sunday’s game against Houston with a concussion after a helmet to helmet hit by Texans linebacker Tim Dobbins. RELATED: Tim Dobbins fined $30,000 for hit on Culter. Cutler...

Jay Cutler’s Concussion Brings Back Bad Memories from Last Season

Late in the second quarter on Sunday night, with the Chicago Bears down 10-3 to the Houston Texans, Jay Cutler stepped out of the pocket and eventually crossed the line of scrimmage to make a pass to Devin Hester. The play would be called back, and a review of whether Cutler stepped over the line would ensue. Bears fans everywhere would also soon suffer from scary memories of...

The Case for a Lovie Smith Contract Extension

What else must Lovie Smith do to win over the Bear’s fans and front office? Don’t become a prisoner of the moment and scoff at the title of this article simply due to the fact the Bears lost to the Texans this past weekend. Lovie Smith has proven to be one of the best coaches in Bear’s franchise history, and he deserves to be rewarded with a long term contract before his current...
