Bleacher Report:
The Denver Nuggets have traded Center Steven Hunter and a lottery protected 2010 first round pick to the Memphis Grizzlies for a future second round pick.
This moved saves Denver $7.4 million dollars due to the fact that the Nuggets are over the luxury tax threshold and Hunter's $3.7 million dollar contract really equals $7.4 million dollars.
This was another great financial move by the Nuggets who are trying to get under or very close to the luxury tax threshold.
This move could also mean another move in the future is possible due to the fact that the Nuggets saved so much money. Denver still has trade exemptions and Malik Allen's $1.3 million expiring contract to play with.
Stay tuned for more Denver Nugget updates.
