MLB Injury News:
Appearing to be back on track in his return from a left hamstring injury, Marco Estrada represented some good news for a struggling ballclub on Friday according to Adam McCalvy and Kevin Massoth of MLB.com.
Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said the right-hander threw a successful bullpen session on Thursday. Estrada's return was slowed before the All-Star break because of back tightness. He threw a sessions on Saturday and reportedly supposed to do another on Sunday, followed by live batting practice three days later.
Assuming no more setbacks, Estrada would then begin a Minor League rehabilitation assignment expected to span three starts.
"The way it's mapped out, we're still looking at a couple weeks, maybe into August," Roenicke said. "The hamstring is OK, and the back is fine now. So we're basically starting him over like we would in Spring Training."
Estrada was the Brewers' No. 2 starter coming out of Spring Training and was 4-4 with a 5.32 ERA in his first 12 starts.

And honestly, this is the best-case scenario for the Brewers slugger.
Milwaukee is going nowhere this season...

The Milwaukee Brewers donned retro uniforms Saturday night. But the jersey of manager Ron Roenicke's was misspelled. As you can see, Milwaukee is incorrectly spelled as "Milwakuee" on the front of his chest.Whoops!Via Eye on Baseball

“I’m not that innocent.” Those are the words of the noted Southern American philosopher Britney Spears. And the phrase applies to Milwaukee Brewers slugger and 2011 NL MVP Ryan Braun.
But Ryan Braun is innocent when it comes to PEDs. Or at least he’s not guilty. And a t-shirt company appealing to Brewers fans has something to say about it- using the medium of cotton and polyester...
