MILWAUKEE -- Ryan Braun's path toward normalcy took another step forward Saturday as he was able to be in the lineup for the second straight day. This is the first time Braun has been able to play back-to-back days since returning from the disabled list July 8. With a trip to the bereavement list halting his comeback attempt from a before the All-Star break, Braun hasn't started two straight games since June 8-9 and has just six at-bats since. Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said Braun will likely take Sunday's series finale against Miami off to rest the irritated nerve in his right hand and isn't sure he can play his star left fielder a full nine innings just yet. "We'll talk to him during the game and see how he's feeling," Roenicke said. "It still bothers him. He said he's been off a long time and just felt a little lost." Up in the air: Brewers third baseman Aramis Ramirez told reporters Friday he plans to make sure his left knee is healthy when he returns even if it takes a little more time. Eligible to come off the disabled list Monday, Ramirez's return date was estimated at 10-14 days in a report by FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal. "I don't know how anyone would know," Roenicke said of the timetable. "Whether it's a week -- I don't think it's going to be Monday -- but I would have no idea. It's up to Rami and how he feels. You can't put days on it. "It could be any time. You just don't know until he's out there in the cage and running around. When he doesn't feel the pain any more, then he's ready to go." Ramirez swung in the cage Friday, but has yet to do any base running, a necessary step before he returns. Paying tribute: Paying homage to the Negro Leagues with their eighth annual tribute game, the Brewers will wear replica uniforms of the 1923 Milwaukee Bears on Saturday. The Bears spent 1923 in the Negro League, their only season in the league. Playing at what would become Borchert Field in Milwaukee, the Bears finished in last place with a 12-41 record and folded after the season. After wearing cream and blue uniforms of the Bears for the last four tribute nights, the Brewers will wear white uniforms with black pinstripes with Milwaukee across the chest. Milwaukee wore these uniforms for the first three tribute nights. The Marlins will wear the uniforms of the original Miami Marlins, a Triple-A franchise from 1956-60. Follow Andrew Gruman on Twitter
