Indiana Pacers assistant coach Brian Shaw has emerged as the Clippers top choice to fill the head coach vacancy. And, the feeling is mutual, as The Detroit News reported earlier this week that Shaw is ”holding out for the Clippers’ job.”  Now that the Pacers have been eliminated from the playoffs, Shaw has permission to interview with NBA teams about head coaching positions. According to ESPN Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Clippers have identified Indiana Pacers assistant Brian Shaw as their No. 1 choice to become the club’s next head coach, a source told ESPNLosAngeles.com’s Ramona Shelburne.
