Michael Jordan secured quite the celebrity lineup for the 13th Annual Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational, which concluded Sunday – some of them so good at golf that Jordan couldn’t even beat them.Former NFL linebacker Brian Urlacher and former MLB pitcher Roger Clemens walked away with the title, their 9-under-par 135 topping former NFL running back Eric Dickerson and former MLB shortstop Ozzie Smith by four strokes. Jordan came in five shots off the lead with his partner, current NFL linebacker Dwight Freeney; 19 duos took part in the tournament at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas, hosted by ARIA Resort & Casino.Urlacher and Clemens used three birdies in four holes Sunday to pull away, and collect $20,000 each for the charities of their choice. In all, the MJCI raised more than $500,000 for charity.“Michael Jordan, ARIA and Shadow Creek put on a great event every year and that’s why you see the firepower we had on the course this week,” Clemens said. “Urlacher played like a champ and I was fortunate to have him as my partner.”“Roger has an incredible drive and we played really well together,” Urlacher said. “As a sports fan myself, it was incredible to meet and play with (Ozzie) Smith and (Eric) Dickerson, who were two of my idols growing up.”Among the other celebrities in action at Shadow Creek were Back9Network’s Ahmad Rashad; Dustin Johnson’s future in-laws, Wayne and Janet Gretzky; NFL stars Aaron Rodgers, Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Johnson and Russell Wilson; musicians Boyz II Men and Jake Owen; and former athletes Julius Erving, Jerome Bettis, Brandi Chastain, Penny Hardaway and Mike Piazza.Since it began in 2001, the MJCI has raised nearly $7 million for charities. This year’s beneficiaries were Make-A-Wish, James R. Jordan Foundation, Keep Memory Alive, Opportunity Village and Cats Care, and the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats’ charity arm.Related Links: Top 9 Jordan Brand Athletes | Why We Love MJOther Hot Links: - By the Numbers: Kraft Nabisco Championship- Weekend Recap: Matt Jones Chips In for Masters Berth- Masters Dinner: A Side of… Bugs?- Zach Galifianakis Enjoys Bubba Watson’s Awkward Handshake- Ticket Masters: Tiger’s Withdrawal Could Cost $50 Million
