The idea of Brian Urlacher suiting up for anyone other than
the Chicago Bearssounds ludicrous. There are just some things
that are sacred in the realm of football like Vince Lombardi coaching the
Packers, Brett Favre leading the same team on the field, or Jeff Saturday
wearing something other than Colts blue.
Oh. Wait a minute.
The lynch pin of the da Bears defense has
been Urlacher for more than a decade now, but his contract is up, and there is
no guarantee he will be back.
Throughout the season he was quoted in the media as being less than happy with the fan base. He is not exactly a
spring chicken anymore (34), and he isn’t going to come cheap should he stay in
