Found January 10, 2012 on The Rap Sheet:
The perception out in Denver from some reporters and players is that the Patriots will have a big advantage with old coach Josh McDaniels now joining the Patriots. He did, after all, draft Tim Tebow. I personally think that’s pretty silly. The Broncos fired McDaniels for not being good enough, now they are worried he’s too good? Huh? Well, I’m not alone in thinking it’s not much for Denver to worry about. Their coach thinks the same thing. “We change players with teams all throughout the year,” coach John Fox said on a conference call. “I real think it’s a while lot about nothing.” So, he doesn’t know the company secrets, huh? Will Josh McDaniels Be Seen As Savior Or Saboteur After New England Patriots Play Denver Broncos?

Leave it to the New England Patriots to make a major move to try and help them advance in the 2012 NFL Playoffs. Less than a week after the regular season ended, the Pats raided the St. Louis Rams’ coaching staff and rehired former offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels to be an assistant throughout the postseason, before he takes over offensive coordinator duties when...

League should close the McDaniels Loophole

Eyebrows have been raised, in Denver and beyond, regarding the ability of the Patriots to hire former Broncos coach Josh McDaniels as an offensive assistant.  The Pats, coincidentally or otherwise, announced the move within 30 minutes or so after the Broncos beat the Steelers, setting up a prime-time Saturday night game between Denver and New…

Fox downplays McDaniels as O’Brien leads offense

Josh McDaniels is expected to be the Patriots offensive coordinator after the season, but his return to the practice field Tuesday in New England was in a different capacity. While Bill O’Brien ran the team’s offense, McDaniels was seen talking up Bill Belichick during the team’s padded practice. Broncos coach John Fox tried to downplay…

Josh McDaniels' Jump to the Pats Nothing to Get Worked Up Over

There are a few people out there who are none too pleased that former Rams coordinator and former Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels was allowed to jump over to the Patriots right before the beginning of the postseason. McDaniels, who was the offensive coordinator for New England before he took control in Denver, ought to seamlessly ingratiate himself back into the fold with his former...
