The Denver Broncos front office has taken some heat for having two of their top-tier executives arrested for DUI within days of each other. Front Office people in professional leagues are probably held to a higher standard than their players, and with the NFL’s image already bruised after an off-season of heavy arrest, two Broncos executives arrested for drinking and driving is not a good look. Denver Broncos president Joe Ellis is aware of the perception of the team right, and feels like everyone involved has some atoning to do according to the Associated Press. “We’re not perfect. We’ve made our errors. We admit it. You can say we apologized for it — butI think an apology rings hollow when you run into the back of a police car or you’re blowing a blood-alcohol limit that’s three times the legal limit.
