Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians has been taken to a Baltimore hospital and will not call plays for the Colts wild card game against the Baltimore Ravens. Arians reportedly felt dizzy on Sunday morning and after doctors performed tests on him, they feel that he might have a virus or inner ear infection. No official diagnosis has been given. Arians said he feels fine and is alright to coach, but doctors have ordered him to rest and not coach today. Instead of Arians calling the offensive plays for the Colts, quarterbacks coach Clyde Christensen will call the offensive shots for the Colts. Arians went 9-3 in twelve games as the interim head coach of the Colts as head coach Chuck Pagano was undergoing treatment for leukemia. Arians is a vital part of the Colts as he helped lead the Colts to an improbable playoff berth and has helped rookie quarterback Andrew Luck throughout this season.
