Every hockey season there always seems to be a younger player who rises above what’s expected of him, and performs at a level that people couldn’t see coming. This past season for the Bruins, that player would be Torey Krug, who was thrown into the fire of the post-season, and took the league by storm. Did he find himself making rookie mistakes throughout his run? There is...
The Boston Bruins announced today the training camp would begin on Wednesday, September 11 with Rookie Training Camp starting on Tuesday, September 3. So far this offseason, the Bruins have made some big changes by adding forwards Loui Eriksson, Jarome Iginla and resigning both goaltender Tuukka Rask and center Patrice Bergeron to eight-year contract extension. Gone is center/wingers...
Bruins fans certainly got to know the bizarre antics of Jaromir Jagr during his short, half-season stint in Boston this past season. With news that the B’s wouldn’t be bringing Jagr back next year, the 41-year old Czech forward has to decide what his future holds. Jagr addressed that future by posting a really strange video to his Facebook page on Tuesday. In the low-quality...
In what feels like another lifetime ago, in the days before Jaromir Jagr left a few mediocre seasons with the Caps and NY Rangers and headed for the KHL, the scuttlebutt was Jagr had become a problem in the "room" and a selfish player. On July 1, 2011, three teams who had been talking to Jagr for months: Detroit, Montreal, and Pittsburgh were "shocked and disappointed...

Though the 2012-2013 season finished about three weeks ago, the Bruins have yet to cease development for the upcoming preseason in September.
The seventh annual Boston Bruins 2013 Development Camp hosted at Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington, Mass., featured many new, upcoming and hopefully future stars. The camp started on Wednesday, July 10, and wrapped...

According to Ken Campbell of The Hockey News, the Boston Bruins have fired their Director of Amateur Scouting, Wayne Smith. Smith was one of GM Peter Chiarelli’s first hires when he became General Manager of the Bruins. After one season as a scout, Smith was promoted to head scout and oversaw a scouting department that...
This may shock you, but Jaromir Jagr is a ******* weirdo.
A potentially broke, gambling addicted weirdo.
So apparently he posted a video on Facebook and he looks like he just crawled out of a crack shack. The video isn't in English, but if you want to watch it here it is:
Ugh, yeah. Luckily Puck Daddy is on it:
The general point of this latest Czech...
from Ken Campbell of The Hockey News,
Well, this has to fall under the category of “Rather Odd” when it comes to off-season hockey news. And given everything that has happened since the puck last dropped a month ago, that’s saying something.
Fresh off their appearance in the Stanley Cup final, the Boston Bruins have fired their longtime director of amateur scouting...
The Bruins have announced their preseason schedule. Unfortunately, Boston only has two home games at the Garden:
9/19 vs Detroit
9/23 vs Washington
Here's how the rest of the schedule breaks down:
(Before we jump into this, I think itâs become clear that someone in the Boston Bruinsâ front office knows my schedule. Going on a boat for the Fourth of July with friends? Trade Tyler Seguin. Out at a holiday weekend cookout? Sign Jarome Iginla. Decide to take a vacation? Finalize contracts for Tuukka Rask and Patrice Bergeron. Now, Iâm not suggesting that Peter Chiarelli...
Earlier this morning, a very disheveled looking Jaromir Jagr (or a really good impersonator) posted a video on Facebook presumbably after a few blackjack shoes that was entirely in Czech, in what can only be described as odd.
According to Puck Daddy and transcribed from sport.rz, Jagr allegedly talks about his future in the NHL looking "black."
