One of the larger NFL stories as the new season approaches will be the status of Darrelle Revis’ surgically-repaired knee. He’s been steadily progressing through the offseason, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback has now been cleared to cut and change directions, according to Pro Football Talk. Revis told Andrea Kremer of NFL Network that he feels “very confident” in his knee, adding that he’s prepared to do what his trainers tell him to do when it comes to cutting. He intends not to think about it too much, which is important considering we’ve seen that these types of injuries can haunt players in their minds. Revis is confident he’ll return to the player he was before the significant injury that cost him last season. He was acquired by Tampa Bay from the New York Jets in exchange for the No. 13 overall pick in the 2013 draft and a third-round selection next year. CB Darrelle Revis medically cleared for cuts

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers took an expensive risk after trading for former New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis. Tampa Bay struggled last season with pass defense and passed over several free agent corners that would have been immediate upgrades in the offseason...

Adrian Clayborn: “Rehab is going well.”

The Bucs pass rush was one of their biggest problems in 2012 and getting their main guys across the defensive line healthy and playing together for a full season will be key. Bucs DE Steven Means draws praise at OTA

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- The telephone rang on the second day of the NFL draft a little bit earlier than Steven Means anticipated.
