Jocks and Stiletto Jill:
Jocks love fresh ink. I’ve featured several athletes tattoos but, this is the first time I’m highlighting a mistake. Bucks Larry Sanders was proud of his new tatt that was supposed to be all about receiving Gods blessings. Inspirational, right? One small problem, received was spelled wrong.
I guess someone forgot to teach his tattoo artist that it’s “I” before “E” except after “C.” Larry should’ve used the advice tatted on his other hand, “ask”
BEST OF MAXIM
Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders was so proud of his new hand tattoo that he posted a photo of it on Instagram. Unfortunately, the word that Sanders had tattooed to his hand had an embarrassing spelling mistake.
Next time, remember to check if your tattoo artist uses spellcheck. Or, at least remember the Charlie Brown rule: "I before E except after C".
EXCEPT AFTER 'C'...
Milwaukee Bucks power forward/center Larry Sanders recently got a new tattoo with a misspelled word. It says "recieve," but that is not right at all.
Count Milwaukee Bucks’ forward Larry Sanders in as the latest addition to the pool of tattoo fanatics that will require their artists to spell out their requested words before they ink them.

MILWAUKEE -- It wasn't the usual entrance to a press conference, but Larry Sanders was greeted with chants of "Larry! Larry! Larry!" as he came into the gym Monday morning.
The venue Sanders chose to host the press conference announcing his four-year, 44 million contract extension with the Milwaukee Bucks wasn't the usual setting.
Instead of hosting the gathering...
Larry Sanders loves his ink. The Bucks’ shot-blocking force is covered in tattoos featuring everything from handguns to angels’ wings, but he probably hopes his latest simply blends in with the rest of his art.
Sanders may have had an immediate case of buyer’s remorse when he posted a photo of his new tat on Instagram. He sounded like he may have been aware that “receive”...
Ask and you shall receive. Don’t ask for the correct spelling, and you shall recieve.
Milwaukee Bucks Larry Sanders proudly posted pictures of his new tattoo on Instagram, when people immediately pointed out his mistake. Sanders laughed it off and was a good sport about it, and like somebody pointed out, its a pretty easy fix to move the loops and redot the I.
Thankfully, I always...
Back in May, Kevin Durant posted a photo of a large new tattoo that appeared to contain a misspelled word.
Fortunately for the three-time scoring champion, the misspelling turned out to just be an illusion, a fact Durant clarified in a subsequent post showing the word -- "mature," in this case -- spelled correctly.
I remind you of this story because Larry Sanders will...
Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders appears to have joined a club that has a very low membership rate and a poor reputation. That would be the misspelled tattoo club. Sanders posted a photo of his new ink on Instagram over the weekend. From what we can see, the tattoo artist forgot to follow the whole […]
Whoops. Larry Sanders is the latest recipient of a misspelled tattoo. The Bucks center, who recently signed to a 4-year, $44 million contract extension with the team, got some new ink on his hand and while he intended to get the word, “Receive,” the tattoo artist – who apparently didn’t do his homework – spelled “Recieve.”
Tattoos are permanent. Before getting a tattoo, one must be very sure and certain that the outline is correct. For Larry Sanders of the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks, that did not [...]
Oh man, this is so embarrassing. You go into a tattoo parlor asking for the artist to hook you up with some ink that spells “Receive” on your hand, and walk out with a big “RECIEVE” instead.
Then to make matters worse, you pop on Instagram and Twitter to show the world how cool you and your new tattoo are.
Yup, that’s exactly what Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders did… ...
Milwaukee Bucks: What Every Projected 2nd Stringer MUST Work On

PG: Luke Ridnour- Three Point Shooting
- Ridnour is still as solid as ever, when it comes to scoring and distributing, but over the last couple of seasons his three point percentage has fallen from 44% to 32.2% to 31.1% and although he will never reach that 44% territory again, he...
Larry Sanders feels a new sense of responsibility after signing a four-year, $44 million extension with the Milwaukee Bucks.
"This organization has put so much trust in me as a person, as a player, as a worker, as a leader," Sanders said. "That's definitely the role I want to take.
"It's not a spontaneous thing. We've been working in this direction...
In one year Larry Sanders has gone from relative obscurity to becoming the centerpiece of the Milwaukee Bucks' rebuilding plans.
Even he has a hard time digesting it.
But the 24-year-old center said Monday he is ready to embrace his sudden leadership role on a Bucks team that has undergone a huge makeover this summer.
Sanders discussed his four-year contract extension at a...
