PHILLY guy Chris Kluwe is now a Raider.

A controversial, colorful, outspoken, and talented athlete with some wear on his tires has been scooped up and given a chance to prove himself with the Silver and Black.

The more things change.... :^)

I love this move with every fiber of my DNA. Though I felt secure with Marquette King at P, having Kluwe CANNOT do anything but help us. King has a booming leg, with nice hangtime, but his placement is spotty. Having a vet around to watch and learn from, only ensures that if King sticks, the Raiders walk away from the offseason set at P for the foreseeable future. If Kluwe sticks because King couldn't or wouldn't get better, then we have a known commodity at the very least in the short going.

So on Special Teams we have: Sea Bass at K, Kluwe or King at P, Josh Cribbs and Jacoby Ford at KR/PR and we're even looking to develop a a guy to back up Jon Condo at LS. Bobby April has NEVER had it this good before. And to think this was all done on a budget!

I can't wait to see what 2013 holds for this unit.
