Arizona State football coach Todd Graham announced the addition of six new staff members, including former ASU standout Rudy Burgess and former Scottsdale Saguaro head coach John Sanders. Burgess, a 2007 alumnus, will join the staff as the Management Intern for Football and returns to ASU after a short professional stint in the Arena Football League. He was one of the most versatile athletes in ASU history, having played wide receiver, tailback, cornerback, kickoff and punt returner and also throwing a touchdown pass during his Sun Devil career. Sanders, who named coordinator of football operations, was relieved of his duties at Saguaro in January despite leading the Sabercasts to four state championships in five seasons. He will be responsible for helping oversee the day-to-day operations of the football program. He compiled a 62-7 record at Saguaro. Bo Graham, 29, the head coach's son, has been named on-campus recruiting coordinator at ASU. He served on his father's staff last year at Pittsburgh as head graduate assistant and assistant wide receivers coach. Todd Graham also named Lee Coleman as a management intern and appointed Keola Loo and Dan Lanning as graduate assistants. Loo, who will work with the offense, comes to Arizona State from Mt. San Antonio College, where he was an assistant football coach and a member of the adjunct faculty. Lanning, who will work with the defense, spent last season working with Graham at Pittsburgh as a graduate assistant working with defensive backs.
