Photo by Chris Gordon, RMNB According to a team release, the Washington Capitals have signed forward Tom Wilson to a three-year, entry-level contract Thursday.  Wilson who was selected 16th in June's NHL Entry Draft, has a contract identical to that of fellow first-round pick Filip Forsberg - with a base salay of $832,500 at the NHL level and $70,000 at the AHL level.  With bonuses, Wilson's NHL cap hit when the deal begins should be in the $1.19 million range. Wilson, who is 18, is at least two years away from playing regularly in the NHL.  After posting only 27 points in 49 games for the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League last season, he needs to develop more in Junior before he breaks in at this level.  At development camp, Wilson showed his physical side, but he still needs to improve his stick skills and scoring ability.  You can't rush players like this, and if he develops properly, Wilson could be the next Milan Lucic.  If he doesn't, he could b...
