Carlos Delfino will miss the remainder of the playoffs with a right foot fracture, the Houston Rockets revealed Friday. Delfino left Game 5 with soreness in his foot and has been a boost off the Rockets bench in the first round series vs. the Thunder, averaging 9 points, 2 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 24 minutes a game. Down 3-2, the Rockets play the Thunder tonight at 9:30 (ET).

A CT scan performed yesterday on Rockets forward Carlos Delfino revealed a bone fracture in his right foot that will require surgery this offseason. Delfino will miss the remainder of the 2013 NBA Playoffs.
“Carlos has played a large role in our success so far this season and we are disappointed for him that he will not be able to finish out this playoff run,” said Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey. “Carlos would love nothing more than to be out there with his teammates as they prepare for tonight’s Game 6, but this is the type of injury that requires a surgical repair....
