San Diego Chargers defensive end Luis Castillo suffered a serious leg injury in Sunday's win over the Minnesota Vikings.
Castillo exited the stadium in a cart and wearing a large brace on his leg.
An agent for two defensive teammates on the Chargers posted on his Twitter acount that Castillo will miss the season with a fractured leg.
Castillo had 26 tackles and three sacks with the Chargers last season.
